Tip: Pulse is also referred to as Tempo (singular) or Tempi (plural) which describes the speed of the music we are listening too. Often we use three languages to express the tempo. For classical music we use either Italian or German and in most other popular music styles English. When creating a piece of music on a computer we also use a simple Beats per minute value called Bpm. 60Bpm (one beat for every second of the minute)  being very slow and 300bpm being very fast.
